Why Phuket?
Phuket is one of the best islands in Southeast Asia not only for vacations but also for permanent living. More and more foreigners are buying property here — and it’s no surprise. Safe investments, high quality of life, excellent healthcare and education, developed infrastructure and mild climate make the island especially attractive for families, retirees, digital nomads and investors.
Religion and Culture
Thailand is a Buddhist country, but Phuket is a multicultural region open to everyone. Buddhists, Muslims, Christians, Hindus and people of other faiths — or none at all — live here in harmony. The island has many temples, mosques and churches. The core local philosophy is respect for each individual’s choice.
Climate
Phuket is a tropical island with a mild, stable climate all year round. There are no sharp temperature changes, and the seasons are divided into two:
— Dry season: November – April
— Rainy season: May – October
Even in the rainy season, showers are usually short and happen at night. This is an ideal place for people with heart, joint or respiratory conditions — and for anyone who wants to live in comfort.
Geography
Phuket is the largest island in Thailand, with an area of about 543 km². It is located in the Andaman Sea and connected to the mainland by the Sarasin Bridge. Surrounded by hundreds of small islands, Phuket is often called the “Pearl of Asia.”
